New licenses and test access

The complete programme of the de Gruyter publishing house continues to be available without restriction. Partner publications are not included. You can find the e-books in the Discovery-System of the ZHB. Access to all e-books is possible until 10/31/2026.

The SZ Archive Library Net contains all SZ sources (Süddeutsche.de, Süddeutsche Zeitung, SZ Magazin and various SZ supplements). The database is not processed in the Discovery system. Further information and the link to the database can be found here.

The F.A.Z. library portal provides access to and search capabilities for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Frankfurter Rundschau. The F.A.Z. archive dates back to 1949. The HERDT Campus online platform from HERDT Publishers allows users to download approximately 1,000 digital textbooks and learning materials on topics relating to operating systems, applications and programmes, IT technology, systems and networks, image processing and much more. Individual titles can be found in the Discovery System. (Up to and including November 30, this is a trial access.)

The Political Science, Economics and Finance, and Business and Management e-book packages from Oxford Scholarship Online have been licensed for EUF until 10/31/2026. You can find the individual titles in the Discovery System.

Full texts of English-language eBooks from the Springer publishing group on "Literature, cultural & media studies" from the publication years 2022 to 2025. The titles can be searched via the Discovery system.

Over 47,000 e-books from Brill and the imprints Fink, Mentis, Nijhof, Schöningh and Wageningen Academic are available on the platform. The titles are licensed until 31.12.2025 and are listed in the Discovery-System.

The platform contains e-books and e-journals from the publishing house Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht (incl. imprints Neukirchener Theologie and Verlag Antike), the subsidiary publishing house V&R unipress, as well as 9 other publishers. Full access is possible until 12/31/2025. The titles are listed in the Discovery-System.

All e-books published by Peter Lang with a focus on the humanities and social sciences will be available until November 30, 2025 and can be searched via the Discovery System.

The UTB study-e-books and scholars-e-library collection has been extended. There, as well as in the Discovery-System, you will find several thousand e-books from the humanities, culture, natural sciences, health sciences, law, economics and social sciences until 11/30/2025.

Until 11/30/2025 you have access to numerous e-books from the Narr/Francke/Attempto publishing group with a focus on linguistics and literature, economics and politics.

In addition, titles from the fields of theology, technology, philosophy, theater studies, history, and media and communication are offered. More than 1,600 titles are activated and can be researched via the Discovery-System.

The entire program of the publisher Kohlhammer is available without restrictions until 07/08/2025. You can find the e-books from the subject areas of history, political science, medicine, hospitals, nursing, psychology, education, theology, religious studies, philosophy, cultural studies, economics, law and administration in the Discovery-System.
