The Joint Library Committee of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences and the Europa-Universität Flensburg meets on the basis of the “Vereinbarung über die Einrichtung der Zentralen Hochschulbibliothek” of 20 June 2000. It consults and decides on fundamental issues concerning the library and advises the library director.

Upcoming meeting dates
The Joint Library Committee meets as required, but at least once per semester. The committee's meetings are not open to the public.

Unlike other Senate committees, the respective member of the Executive University Board whose area of responsibility includes the library and the library director are ex officio members of the commission with voting rights.
The staff councils and equal opportunities officers of both universities are invited as permanent guests.
