Throughout the campus Citavi is used as a reference management program. You can download Citavi for Windows to your personal computer at no charge. The Citavi Web version can be used in your browser regardless of your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux). Depending on which of the two Flensburg universities you are a member of, please use the respective licensing option of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences (FUAS) or Europa-Universität Flensburg. Please note the missing features of Citavi Web and the note on using the Citavi Cloud.

On the Citavi webiste you will find learning videos for beginners and advanced users.
Using the Citavi Cloud
Citavi for Windows allows data to be stored in the Citavi Cloud. This cloud uses the Microsoft Azure platform, a non-European provider. Find out about Citavi's privacy policy and weigh up where you want to store your projects. For data protection reasons, it is advisable to store sensitive data locally only.
